1967-72 Five Years Classical Vocal Study with Double Grammy Award Winning Texas Boys’ Choir (worked with Igor Stravinsky, E. Power Biggs, W.M. Self, Burl Ives, and The Santa Fe Opera).
1972-76   Texas Blues Sideman Bassist with Bobby "Blue" Bland, Johnny Taylor, O.V. Wright, Z.Z. Hill, Freddy King.
1976-79   Buddy Miles - Worldwide touring and recording Bassist.
1979   Recording sessions with Stephen Stills, Mike Finnigan and Joe Vitali at The Record Plant, L.A.
1979-81   OZ - Epic Records LP produced by Andy Johns. Executive Producers Gary Kellgren and Criss Stone (Record Plant).
1981 - 91   Black Sheep - Founder / frontman / Producer / Songwriter opened Willpower Rehearsal Studio (Guns ‘n Roses, Poison, L.A. Guns, Leatherwolf, Warrant, Bitch, Soundbarrier).
Nov. 1985   LP Release - Black Sheep "Trouble in the Streets", Enigma Records, featuring Paul Gilbert (Mr. Big) on guitar.
1990   The Big-F – Stage Manager U.S. and Canada Tours with Soundgarden and Voivod. Sold name, Black Sheep, to rap act on Mercury Records.
1991   Basse- Solo project working with John Goodsal (Brand-X) , Rick Parnell (Spinal Tap) Earl Slick , Mike Finnigan, Randy Castillo (Ozzy), produced by Dennis Mackay.
1993   Formed Rocks 'Cool Records (now a 24-track production facility in Van Nuys, CA).
1994   Started Killer Gear Brokers (K.G. B.) - A full-service professional audio equipment company, buying and selling new and vintage exotic recording equipment worldwide.
1996   Formed Big Star Enterprises - managing the country band, "Hawk & Jones,' (6 wks at #1 Gavin Album Cuts Chart 1996)
1999   Released Black Sheep “Sacrifice” E.P. on Rockscool Records. #1 in several radio airplay markets. U.S. Tour. Engineered Canned Heat “Blues 2000” CD. Top 10 in Europe. Started “Rock for Recovery” a non-profit organization promoting alcohol and drug abuse awareness.
2000   Consulted Studio Atlantis on setup of new recording facility in Hollywood. Launched successful new product the revolutionary “J-Hoop” with Danmar Percussion Products.
2001   WILLIE BASSE currently has a weekly TV-Series in the pipeline called "Rock For Recovery." He is recording a new CD for his indie-label Rocks'cool Records, also producing and engineering for other artists at his 48-track, analog recording facility in Los Angeles. Through KGB/Killer Gear Broker, he is consulting and selling vintage recording equipment. Also heads marketing and sales for The Revolutionary J-HOOP.
